Ever since Crash Mansion opened with Norah Jones in 2003 it’s been consistently bringing some of the best in music. They’ve truly made a name for themselves with great parties, a chance for new artists to showcase their skills and with potentially the coolest and most intimate club atmosphere in NYC (definitely since Viscaya closed). Their parties ranged from DJ sets from ?uestlove and Pete Rock to live performances by okayplayer artists.
What separates this club from any other in NYC is the fact that there is no push for the bottle service. You can preserve the old club feel of NYC, dancing, having fun and… lounging. Yes, you can sit there without being bothered by cocktail waitresses to but a $500 bottle of Grey Goose. If you are in the mood for a bottle thou, service is absolutely impeccable there. The loungy setting allows you to kick back and just enjoy the night. For those of you who want more, they even got a pool table on the side. That doesn’t take away from all the incredible design of the place at all thou.
The lines to get in are generally very realistic, amount of space available is surprisingly high, drinks are not overpriced and the ration of men to women is pretty even. Without a doubt, Crash Mansion stands as a winner in the NYC club scene.
