This sexy, comfy champagne lounge is a rear find indeed. Hidden on a side street, 2 blocks away from Gramercy Park, it hides in dim lights while offering plenty of space, charm and comfort. Its plush couches, a house DJ, with occasional live music, a wide selection of champagne, wine and port doesn’t make sense. It was to be a speakeasy-like joint and yet luxury trends pour all over.
Without a doubt an excellent date spot it features a menu filled with everything from caviar and a selection of cheeses to sandwiches and desserts. Its mid-town location carries a bit of a different feel, and its Paris spot is just too far away, but the Gramercy Flute has the perfect blend of intimacy, luxury and comfort. It also has a smaller hip mini-lounge, where you can just chill on a couch with a glass of your favorite sparkling, after you walk downstairs and walk down a long and narrow corridor. If not for the fact that this is a really trendy spot, you’d finally get that speakeasy feel.
