S.O.B.’s, New York’s Home of Universal Music, is a live music nightclub/restaurant that specializes in bringing out the African-American and Latino Diasporas in New York. S.O.B.’s presents live concerts in the genres of hip hop, R&B, salsa, Latin alternative, South Asian and African music. Throughout its 25-year history, S.O.B.’s has been home to legendary performances from hip-hop icons like KRS-ONE, Kanye West, Common, Ice-T, Boot Camp Clik, De La Soul, and many many more. Every month, S.O.B.’s Common Ground, New York’s only international hip-hop showcase, provides a platform for up-and-coming hungry MC’s who represent different part of the globe and sometimes spit in different languages, meeting on the common ground of a hip hop stage.
